The worst book I've ever read. I was crying. Actually screeching and crying. It was terrible and I wouldn't change a damn thing about it. This is a must read. 10/10 would recommend, if I could give it 11/10 I would!Product details

A Confederate Flag Turned Me Gay edition by LeRoy Ned Malone Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
Truly, a chilling cautionary tale for any decent, God-fearing conservative. What if two of your most beloved political sacred cows came into direct, diametric opposition? Not since SOPHIE'S CHOICE has such an impossible decision been proposed to the reader. And not since JANE EYRE has such a beautiful, forbidden romance been portrayed. Six stars.
I find this book relatable in so may ways. I loved this book . I'm a god fearing proud southern gay American . I LOVE the confederate flag & the Pride Flag. Why Do I Love the Gay Pride Flag so much well after there no Blacks in the Rainbow silly ;)
I have not read this book, nor am I likely to. But I bought it, and am giving it 5 stars, because the author is god for even thinking of putting a book on with this title. The inside could be 50 pages of random gibberish. I don't care. Five stars. Well done, sir.
I’m not hugely familiar with the genre of satirical homo-erotic fiction but how could I not waste a buck on this thing. I came across it in a vice article so I didn’t really expect too much. Obviously part of the reason it’s popped up in the last few weeks is because of recent events and at 16 pages and numerous spelling and grammatical errors it felt rushed. Being from Australia I wasn’t too familiar with the whole confederate flag issue so I read up, and wow. So onto the book. It’s pretty messed up but it comes from a good place. To start off it gives two notes in the header, “To a world without bigotry or hatred” and “If you’re offended by this book you’re either a bigot or you don’t get satire.” I’m not sure who the audience is here, I’d say bigots should take a read, but it’ll probably just make them angry. It follows the narrator on a journey of awakening of sorts. He talks about freeze-framing old Dukes of Hazzard clips for his new fetish. Flash forward 5 years and he becomes a millionaire. Along the way he meets a stranger who makes him question his true-blue heterosexuality. I like how our protagonist is fiercely bigoted, while never taking the offensiveness so far as to take you out of the story. I kept finding myself enjoying this parody of a bigot, though it also made me feel quite uncomfortable because as ridiculous as this character is I know these people exist and that scares me. Overall I enjoyed this spoof of a man so staunchly homo-phobic he has to constantly remind himself how many women he’s bedded. The idea of turning gay from a confederate flag is so ridiculous but there are some sectors of society who still think you can just turn gay on and off so the themes of this gay erotica are actually quite topical. The disturbingly descriptive acts throughout might be a little too much for people to take, I’m not squeamish so I thought they were a good laugh. The footnote about the author states "LeRoy Ned Malone is a penname for everyone who’s been denied a voice because of bigotry and hate." I’d like to think this book will have some profound effect on a bigot, unfortunately it’s message is clouded by the graphic scenes that I think will offend most bigots. Even though the climax is given away in the title it was oddly satisfying when the narrator finally surrenders to the flag. I give it 6 out of 10 rainbow confederate flags.
Offers some well written, funny, and relevant commentary to a few recent events. Certainly worth reading.
Quick and lewd satire that Swift and company would appreciate. Bringing back the 18th Century one gay star and bar at at time.
Finally a book that has both straight and gay sex and Confederate flags. I'm usually not a big fan of gay sex, but this author makes it work and I had to stop several times during reading this to flick my bean.
The worst book I've ever read. I was crying. Actually screeching and crying. It was terrible and I wouldn't change a damn thing about it. This is a must read. 10/10 would recommend, if I could give it 11/10 I would!
